R.I.P.D.  Maybe the ad campaign for this film should have been a variation on the old Certs commercial.  “It’s a ripoff of Men in Black.”  “No, it’s a ripoff of Ghostbusters.”  “No, it’s two, two, two ripoffs in one!”

RED 2.  What if they had a Cold War and nobody came–except septuagenarians.  You’d have Red 2, or as some Misfits refer to it, codger-palooza.

This is the End.  If you’re looking for a funny, clever film about Armageddon, forget what Jim Morrison said.  This is the End is definitely not your friend.

Solomon Kane.  Finally someone has managed to do justice to Robert E. Howard’s vision and put it up on the movie screen.  Surprisingly, it’s not Conan but Solomon Kane.
